This gallery is dedicated to some of the diverse electronics in the sound chain that make the guitar such a versatile musical instrument in the fascinating and diverse world of modern music. The sounds thus created have featured on pretty much every stage and in every studio for many decades. Long may it contiue. Enjoy.

Electric guitars really need an amplifier to be used effectively. The signature sounds of amplifiers from either side of the Atlantic tend to dictate guitarists preferences, whether for the ‘American sound’, often associated with ubiquitous Fender amplifiers and the ‘British sound’, often associated with iconic brands such as Marshall. Both have contributed to the musical legacy we continue to enjoy today, especially as the ‘old’ valve technology still tends to dominate modern amplifier design.
