Cool or what? A lovely Tele Deluxe in the unusual faded Blonde finish (early 70s Deluxes are normally natural finish). The Tele Deluxe is unusual for having the Strat-like neck and ‘hardtail’ bridge, with the ‘bullet’ truss rod and 3-bolt neck plate, as well as the rib cage contour on the back of the body. Like the Tele Thinline, it has 2 Seth Lover humbucking pickups and, like the Custom has the Les Paul-like control layout. A hugely flexible guitar with a different feel and sound to a standard Tele.
